SQUARE ROOTS (K2-8, EEC licensed):
Square Roots, CSTO’s K2-8 EEC-licensed after school program, is excited to announce our extended program hour and would like to invite you and your family to enroll in the upcoming 2017/18 school year program. Square Roots provides academic support and homework help Monday through Friday from 3 - 6:30 pm, with an affordable monthly fee of $155! We offer pick-up from partnering schools and also offer full day programming during school vacations. EEC vouchers are accepted. Our project-based, youth development program hires young adults to participate in college and career focused workshops. Our Peer Leaders develop 21st century skills through a series of art and vocational training workshops, including: film, video, graphic design, entrepreneurship, goal setting and financial literacy. Held in CSTO’s safe spaces, our young people develop healthy relationships with their peers and adults while learning the necessary skills to become successful, thriving members of society. SQUARE TECH TRAINING PROGRAM:
Square Tech recruitment has now begun for our upcoming Fall Program. Square Tech interns will be introduced to: PC Hardware 101; Networking Fundamentals; Programming Codes; Business/Customer Service Training; Financial Literacy; Resume Writing/ How to Interview for a Job and more! ADULT COMPUTER CLASSES:
This fall, CSTO will be offering Computer Classes for adults and seniors these classes will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8 pm starting September 26 through December 15. The class will focus on: computer navigation to obtain basic internet access skills, emailing, smart phone training, and social media. This course will be 12 weeks and costs $25 for residents and $35 for non-residents. Space is limited, so act fast!
