Summer Programs Now Enrolling!


CSTO's programs are now enrolling for Summer 2017! Read on to learn more:

Square Roots: The Square Roots Summer Program (K2-8, EEC licensed) offers full day, Monday – Friday 9am-5pm, activities for youth ages 6-14. Square Roots’ goal is to prevent summer losses by thoughtfully integrating math, English, and science into all of our activities. The program will begin Wednesday, July 5th and end August 18th. Applications will be accepted beginning April 3rd with a deadline of June 2nd , 2017. The summer program fee is $550 for Castle Square Residents and $650 for non-residents. A $100, non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your child’s spot. Space is limited and will fill quickly, so please act fast! Teen Program: Become a visual archivist through CSTO's Teen Program! This summer CSTO's Teen Program is recruiting Castle Square residents between the ages of 14-19 for a paid summer internship. Through the internship, youth will learn how to preserve their neighborhood’s history through exciting workshops which include photography, video, and graphic design. Interns will build and develop valuable workplace experience and participate in exciting field trips. Visit the Teen Program page to apply online at www.cstoboston.org. Square Tech: Square Tech is hiring teens between the ages of 14-19 for a summer internship program. Square Tech is looking for those who are excited to learn about computers and technology, and who are interested in becoming leaders within our community. Interns will focus on projects that include: Business/Customer Service, App Inventor, and Fun with PC Hardware/Networking. Apply now! Adult Computer Classes: Join and learn how to use computers to create a custom photo album. This is an introductory course perfect for adults and seniors who would like to learn how to use technology! Learn: how to connect devices to a computer; how to use email for communication; how to manage your documents and files in Windows 10; what cloud storage is, and how to use it; how to use Microsoft PowerPoint for creating photo albums; and more! Classes run July 5-August 18, 2017 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-8pm. Pricing: $25 for Castle Square residents; $35 for non-residents. Questions?
